How big is a 16-yard dumpster?
A 16-yard dumpster holds 16 cubic yards of debris, which is roughly 6 to 8 pickup-truck loads. It's big enough for a garage or home cleanout or a kitchen or bathroom remodel, and small enough to fit in most residential driveways.
How much weight is included?
Up to 1.5 tons (3,000 lbs) of disposal is included. Light, bulky items like furniture and household junk rarely reach that limit. Heavy materials like concrete, dirt, brick, rock and tile add weight quickly, so fill levels for those will be lower.
Can I keep the dumpster longer than 7 days?
Yes. Let us know before your 7 days are up and we can extend the rental. Ask for the current extra-day rate when you book.
What can't go in the dumpster?
No hazardous materials (chemicals, fuels, solvents, asbestos, pesticides), no tires and no paint. If you're not sure about an item, call us before you toss it.
Do I need a permit?
Not if the dumpster sits on your own driveway or private property. If it has to go on a public street, your city may require a permit. Check with your city, and we're happy to help you figure it out.
